Had a sudden urge to finish this piece that's been on my HDD for MONTHS! Decided to challenge myself and paint up the whole thing from render to this - as fast as I could, cause other wise I could spend days on this.
So a few hours later here we are. A bit of a rush, but still turned out ok I think. This is a counter piece to this pic here: [link] The composition is a little off, but eh. Think I may have over done it with the lighting... But last ep of TFA with the Magnus Hammer got me all G'd up. Hope u all enjoy.  EDIT: It bugged me all day about the composition and colour and generally what the comments have been do far - so I toned the background down a bit and tweaked it in a few places and also included a certain cassetticon... EDIT #2: Still bugging me, I toned down the BG and adjusted the contrast in some areas. A touch-up, it much needed. Comments Awesome job!!!

I wouldn't expected such an imposing picture to have a darker sky... the bright, cheery colors kind of ruin the mood you were going for, IMHO.

-- They say you are what you eat, well I must have eaten a sexy beast.  Overall, I think its really good. But if you felt changes can be made to improve it, I'd recommend adding different textures to the golden structures in the back. They look too clean compared to the rest of the image. And I agree with JazZeke, the sky is too cheery looking for the decepticons.
 I love your rendering, although I truly believe the motief isn't really dark enough, it's too colorful and bright.
I also love the fact you brought in the Space Bridge from Animated. nice touch.  -- When it comes to expressing yourself through ART, Always give it your best shot and never give up. the end result will speak for itself. ~Gauge  Awesome!
That's so beautiful, and I really liked the powerfulness and colors in this artwork. Great work ! Dag, yo! I still cannot get over the expressiveness your 3D characters have. I think you're like the only one who "gets" that, yknow?
